World Toilet Day, November 19th
In a bid to make sanitation a human right for all the United Nations has declared Tuesday, November 19th as the first ever World Toilet Day. 36% of the world’s population still lives without access to a safe, clean toilet. This has grave consequences on people’s health: 1,600 children die per day from diarrhea that is largely preventable through clean toilets and safe waters. To learn more click here.
