World TB Day

Tuberculosis is a curable and treatable disease, yet it remains one of the top three causes of death for women aged 15 to 44. World Tuberculosis Day, 24 March, is an opportunity to raise awareness about the burden of tuberculosis (TB) worldwide and the status of TB prevention and control efforts. The day is also an occasion to mobilize political and social commitment for further progress. To learn more about World Tuberculosis Day click here. To learn about Every Woman Every Child commitments working to end Tuberculosis click here.
