MDG Health Alliance announces new initiative to save lives by accelerating access to family planning for women around the world

As the London Summit on Family Planning draws global attention to the need for expanding access to voluntary family planning and reproductive health services around the world, the MDG Health Alliance announced a new initiative that will build partnerships with a focus on financing and strategic advocacy around reproductive health and family planning. This effort will be chaired by United Nations Foundation CEO, Kathy Calvin, and private sector leader and member of the UN Foundation’s Global Entrepreneurs Council, Angela Mwanza, and is in support of Every Woman Every Child.
