First IAP meeting held in Johannesburg
In just one day, the group moved fast to clarify its role and responsibilities and set out a roadmap for their work. Nana Taona Kuo (EOSG) was invited to provide an overview of Every Women Every Child (EWEC) and the Global Strategy, and discussed with the panel its role within this global accountability architecture. Discussions were also initiated on the theme of the first report on the State of Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health and process to develop it.
The group then joined the Accountability Workshop organised by the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) on the 3rd and 4th of March.
