Commodities Commission resolution approved by World Health Assembly delegates with wide-ranging support

Each year, delegates from WHO Member States come together to focus on a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board. This May, the Sixty-sixth session of the World Health Assembly (WHA) is taking place in Geneva. A resolution from the UN Commission on Life-Saving Commodities wide-ranging support. The resolution promotes robust monitoring and evaluation on progress achieved towards the Commission recommendations at global and country-level by requiring the submission of an annual report by the WHO Director General to the World Health Assembly until 2015.
