Alliance of Alliances
Recognizing the need for multi-sectoral cooperation and accountability to advance women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health and sustainable development, our organizations commit to work together across sectors, and develop an “Alliance of Alliances” working together at global, regional and country levels during 2015-2020.
The Aman Foundation’s financial contributions will help facilitate research in integrated family health service delivery and family planning programs that help increase the number of new family planning users through improved quality of services, introduction to new contraceptive methods, innovative service-delivery interventions, and demand generation
American Academy of Pediatrics
The AAP renews its commitment to reach more than 60 countries and 1.5 million children, mothers and families in support of the Every Newborn Action Plan. Additionally, between 2015-2017, AAP commits to saving at least 100,000 newborns and, in partnership with the pediatric associations of India, Nigeria, and Ethiopia, to facilitating in-country ability to continue spreading and scaling-up Helping Babies Survive training initiatives.
American India Foundation
American India Foundation, in collaboration with Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Srujana Welfare Organization, commits through its Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative (MANSI) to training and empowering community health workers (known as Accredited Social Health Activists, or ASHAs) and Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) to assist in improving health systems in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh, India, in support of Every Woman Every Child.
In support of Family Planning 2020 (FP2020) goals and the Every Woman Every Child Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health, Americares commits to creating and/or expanding access to family planning (FP) commodities and services integration where possible to its existing MNCH and broader clinical health programs in Liberia, Tanzania, Nepal, India and/or Philippines.
