New Global Investment Framework For Women’s and Children’s Health, November 19th

A new analysis was released by the Lancet on a Global Investment Framework for Women’s and Children’s Health coordinated by the World Health Organization, The Partnership for Maternal Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) and the University of Washington. By placing the additional investments in women’s and children’s health, the analysis shows that it would be possible to avoid the deaths of 147 million children, 32 million stillbirths, and 5 million women by 2035.
