The Lancet releases special Countdown issue to mark opening of UNGA

With the 67th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) opening this week, there is a growing sense of urgency that some of the poorest countries in the world will not reach 2015 targets for reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child survival. The Lancet has published papers: to highlight how development aid is stalling, good news from Niger, where child mortality is substantially decreasing, and a new two-part Series on child equity.
