16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Gender-based violence (GBV) affects millions of people each year globally and has direct and indirect costs to families, communities, economies, global public health and development. GBV includes the use or threat of physical, psychological, sexual, economic, legal, political, social and other forms of control and/or abuse. These 16 Days (November 25-December 10) focus on eradicating GBV as well as highlight 16 key facts on intimate partner and sexual violence against women.
