Theme: Investing in Adolescent Health—the Future is Now
This event is held by the International Association for Adolescent Health (IAAH) every four years, with this year’s location being New Delhi, India, and is focused on lowering mortality rates for adolescents. Currently there are 1.3 million adolescent deaths per year, whether due to unintended injuries, self-harm, interpersonal violence, communicable diseases or teenage pregnancy. This year’s theme will include discussions over mental health and adolescents, gendered approached to adolescent health, opportunities and challenges and more. The World Congress is expecting around 800 international and national delegates to attend.
