Launch of the WHO Bulletin Special Issue

The series brings together research, editorials, and policy perspectives that that cover the survive-thrive-transform objectives of the Global Strategy, including some under-researched topics such as stillbirths and adolescent mental health. An article, co-authored by many of the authors of the Global Strategy, provides concrete examples of how transformative change is already being made in many countries through targeted investments and multi-sector action. The voices of young people—the ‘SDG generation’—also stand out through editorials, interviews, and research.  The series makes the case for the importance of continued investment in research and learning to support country implementation.

The launch of the series is very timely as countries will be discussing the implementation of the Global Strategy at the upcoming 69th session of the World Health Assembly.
