Post-2015 Negotiations: apply to speak during February 20 interactive dialogue with Major Groups and other stakeholders
If you are a representative of a civil society organization, non-governmental organization, or an organization participating in the Major Groups, and are interested in speaking during this interactive dialogue, and do not require travel funding to participate, please apply at the link below by 11:59pm NY time on 8 February. A previous call for nominations for this session was issued at the beginning of January focused on identifying 4 speakers to receive travel funding; the 4 speakers were recently chosen by the February stakeholder Steering Committee – see the list at bottom of this message.
*If you applied previously and indicated that you must receive funding to participate, your application has now been removed from consideration. You may reapply at the link below if you would like to be considered for a speaking role in the February session without provision of travel funding. All previous applicants that indicated they did not require travel funding to attend the February session will remain in consideration for available unfunded speaking slots. If you previously applied and do not want to remain in consideration, kindly let us know by writing to:firstname.lastname@example.org
All applications received will be published automatically here:
The Stakeholder Steering Committee (that was selected through an open process in January) will create the speakers list for the interactive dialogue from among the applications received via a process facilitated by UN DESA-DSD and UN-NGLS. The Committee will ensure regional and gender balance, and diversity of age and expertise in the overall list, and accommodate as many constituencies as possible including the 9 Major Groups, within the time period that will be allocated for the interactive dialogue.
